What is this? Good question. I had a lot of trouble trying to explain to myself what it is. A photo would probably be the best explanation, but I don't want to take another photo of this lamp. So this is the "neck" part of my desk lamp. I'm not sure if there's a term for it, there probably is. I'd be curious to know.
