Day 334 - Harbourfront Colours

I took my family to Toronto's Harbourfront. It was the first time my family has been on a subway in Toronto. While we were on the subway, we saw my friend and her family enter on the subway. It was such a ridiculous coincidence.

Day 333 - Toronto Skies

It was bright and sunny today. I didn't get too many photo opportunities.

Day 332 - King Tin Dragon

My family is visiting me! This was taken at King Tin restaurant.

Day 331 - Kids Meal Randomness

This was from a Kids' Meal at Harvey's. You're supposed to look for certain ojbects. I predict that the photos I take in the next two weeks are going to sub par due to finals.

Day 330 - Unfocused Starfish

The unfocused photo was actually more interesting than the half-focused photo so I chose to use this photo instead. There are only 35 days of this project left. To be honest, I thought that the photos of my last two months would be better, but I guess life gets in my way sometimes. I'm hoping that when this project is over, I can spend more time on my photos before I post them.

Day 329 - Bird Bottom

Lectures have officially ended. I guess that's the ultimate sign that I should begin studying for finals. I'm actually terrified of them.

I think I overdid the editing in this photo. It just looked kind of boring with the original colours. The bird flew away after I took this shot so I could not get a shot of the bird's face.

Day 328 - Abstract Heart Bokeh

My friend gave me a Bokeh Masters Kit and I didn't have the chance to use it since I didn't have my nifty fifty with me. It's really fun and has lots of cool shapes! I used the heart shape first but I plan on using all of them at some point! I shall look for more opportunities to use them!

Day 327 - Audiophile Wannabe

I spent all day cleaning the entire house and my room today. I decided to finally clean up up my audio stuff. I have no idea why anyone in their right mind would need 5 headphones, 8 earphones, or 7 mp3 players but somehow I have obtained all these things at some point. I wish I wasn't such a consumer sometimes. I probably should have gone for quality instead of quantity. It would have certainly saved up a lot of space.

Day 326 - Ham and Cheddar Breakfast Quiche

I went to Williams Fresh Cafe today and ordered a breakfast quiche. They also had a summer drinks deal from 3pm - 6pm where you can get $2 cool drinks. I tried to study there today but it wasn't as successful as I hoped it would be.

Day 325 - Bang

The other day, we played Bang! until around 2:30am. I slept in the next day and missed my classes. I guess it was worth it though. It's a really fun game.

Day 324 - Welcome Back Nifty Fifty

I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I lent my Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II lens to a friend last month and she accidentally dropped it. She gave me back the money for it but I was without my lens for a while. Today, I someone I met at photo club was selling theirs and so I decided I'd buy it then and there. I'm so happy though. I really missed it.

This shot's not too interesting, but it was the first shot with my new/used lens. I took it on the way to the ATM to withdraw the money.

Day 323 - Abstract Laziness

I felt so lazy today that it kind of felt miserable. Hopefully I can get a full night's sleep tonight and I can start being productive.

Day 322 - Karaoke Machine

I slept in today despite the fact I had classes and work. I hope I don't sleep in tomorrow.

We sang with the karaoke machine today.

Day 321 - Bitter Sweet Chocolate Terrine

I must say, this weekend has been one of my most eventful weekends this year.

- Bought gift card for friend at Anthropologie
- Made a homemade birthday card for said friend
- Grocery shopped for baking ingredients
- Baked chocolate chip cookies
- Had sushi at a very small restaurant
- Visited friend's adorable and hyper husky
- Watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (3D)

Sunday
- Go Karting at Grand Prix Raceways
- Bought strawberries at farmer's market
- Had Chinese Food at restaurant in which I forget the name too
- Played billiards and "Spot the Difference" at Mix2
- Bubble Tea at Go For Tea

Monday
- Two hour walk around my friend's house
- Explored North York Toronto
- Summerlicious at Canoe

I have spent around $200 this weekend but I think it's alright to splurge every once in a while. I did absolutely no work this weekend. It's back to the reality of work and school now.

Day 320 - Grand Prix Kartways

I'm glad my friend and I experimented with panning the other day because otherwise I would not have been able to get this shot. We bought Teambuy tickets to go-karting a while back and decided we would use them today. It was quite exile rating.

Day 319 - Mountain of Chocolate Chip Cookies

These chocolate chip cookies that my friends made were absolutely delicious! This makes me want to bake things on my own. It's very rewarding when it turns out!

Day 318 - Night It Up

We went to the Night It Up in Markham, Ontario today and it was very crowded. It was very difficult to take photos since there were so many people. We didn't get much food since there was such a long line up. It was an interesting experience though.

Day 317 - Curious Kitty

I think the cat that I usually feed has kittens! They are soooooo adorable. Words cannot describe the aww factor they give. There were probably about four of them. I hope they all grow up to be healthy cats.

Day 316 - Look Up

Day 314 - Sale Sanitizer

My friend bought hand sanitizer for quite a deal! It was originally $7.99 (or so they claimed) and she bought it for $0.99.

Day 313 - Dim Sum Peek-a-Boo

I had dim sum today. It was delicious.

Day 312 - Homemade Macarons

Yesterday, I had macarons for the first time in my life. Today, we made macarons! So many macarons in one weekend! I'm so glad they turned out!

Today, my friend introduced me to macarons. I had the blue one and the white one. They have such interesting colours!

We found this feather on the ground while playing frisbee today. I was playing a lot with Photoshop. It looks very different from the original photo.

My parents bought a patio umbrella for our backyard deck. It's too bad I don't get to enjoy it a little more.

Day 305 - Ambassador Bridge

It stormed very heavily last night and the power went out so I had no access to internet. I always seem to have an excuse.

I'm at home for just a few more hours and I will have to go back. It was a nice break.

Day 304 - Canada Day

Happy Canada Day everyone! I'm back home again with family for the weekend. It was a tiring bus ride but certainly worth it.

On another note, my telephoto lens came in! It's 55-250mm and it feels so weird being able to zoom in so much. I hope I can get some shots with this new lens.
